Never have had to go the way of the "Bit Twiddler". I took the ILE RPG test this past week also, and I don't remember any questions on this. They must pull them from a pool of questions. But you should have seen the administrator test. While most questions were reasonable, there was one that asked how to handle a program in a MSGW state, and one of the options was to place the key in a certain positon, and IPL the system! <--- funny stuff.
