For someone with years of RPG experience, it seems like using RPGLE to
creating the Web Interface would make more sense.  RPGLE is just as
capable
(even more so in some respects) of creating AS/400 Web Applications.

should take a look at tools like CGIDEV or RPGsp.  RPGsp is a
development
environment that the company I work for makes.  It's all RPGLE-based
with an
HTML front-end, you can create new applications or convert existing
ones.
