However - RPG IV is so compatible that should _any_ change be needed, conversion should be a no-brainer. Now you are in position to use the new stuff where appropriate. And worse case you've got more white space so the program (which by your own definition will not be familiar) will be easier to understand while performing the fixes/updates.
