I guess I didn't explain well enough, sorry. I hope this clarifies the situation. If a convert from CCSID value, other than 0 is passed, only files of that specific CCSID will be converted, if the convert from CCSID = 0 ('*ALL" Value) then all files will be converted. This is the relavant code snippit: If fileStat.CCSID <> toCCSID; // Conversion Required If fromCCSID = 0 or // Convert All CCSIDs fileStat.CCSID = fromCCSID; // Specific CCSIDs // Process the conversion Is 0 the logical value? Would 65535 or some other value be better?
