Correct, and I use CSRLOC as well, especially when using multiple subfiles
or a scrolling subfile.

Every technique has a tradeoff. For me, not getting a phone call from a
frustrated user that can't figure out why the prompt function won't work
offsets the possibility of forgetting to change the internally defined
cursor positions. If my users numbered in the teens instead of the
thousands, I'd probably change my mind.

Happy New Year!

cursor should not got back to the first field if you use the CSRLOC keyword
in you display. Just need to populate the row and col fields in CSRLOC
before you exfmt.

I hate using cursor positions for this. Guess what you need to do if you
happen to move everything down a line. Programmer tends to forget to do
that. All the sudden the decode is not working.
