Yes, but you may run into a stumbling block if the field is numeric. To use the '?' in a numeric field make sure you specific the field as alpha with CHECK(RZ) on the DDS that way the user can enter either the '?' or actual code joem ----- Original Message ----- From: "Douglas W.
