What I see happen, though, is that people simply want to do their own thing and not really share what they've learned with the rest of group. For example, my IAAI website is seeing no significant activity right now. Nobody is offering any input, nobody is adding any insight. It's mostly me talking about benchmarks. I hope that will change after I've added the Java benchmarks this week and can start talking about architectures. But if you really want to see change in our community, I think a good place to start would be to make a concerted effort to share new ideas. The IAAI was created for just that sort of sharing.
