How do you change a > service program without having to rebind all objects that are using it. The very very very short answer to this is "it depends". Mostly, it depends on how you created the service program. If you created the service program with "export(*all)", then you are about to experience something that everyone using service programs learns: this is not the best way to maintain service programs, for a variety of related reasons. I'm sorry I don't really have time to get into it now, but I've got a series of articles that may help. You can find the links here: http://www.rpgnext.com/tutorials.php The first two in particular address your situation. Best of Luck, Joel Cochran http://www.rpgnext.com
