> I want to improve the performance of my > program which uses Interactive SQL. The SQL and DB2 UDB books in the Infocenter have sections on performance. http://www.iseries.ibm.com/infocenter I think it is very difficult to give good advice on improving performance on an email reflector. If you are ready to improve performance, you pretty much have to start doing independent research on topics like work management, DB2 optimiser and so on. A generic word of advice is to measure your existing performance (the whole system as well as this program) before you make any changes. Make one change, record what you did and measure again. Continue this cycle until you reach the performance levels you desire. --buck
