I was just trying to re-iterate what you said that it all ends up as bits and bytes in the end, and if you look at it like that then nothing really has an advantage. But if you look at how a technology like XML works vs. csv's you can see that there is a definite feature difference. You aren't comparing the two correctly IMO. <Joe> 700 bytes of overhead for a message sucks at any speed, Aaron. That's the problem with the latest generation of coders: performance has taken a back seat to pumping out more bloated code, and that's why we have programs that require 2GB of memory to run. </Joe> I will take David's advice on this comment and not respond at all.
