A separate system for development? Only in my fantasies. We develop on the production system and take great care not to use production libraries and jobs in our testing. We'd need the same amount of DASD as the production system anyway because of all the end of day/month stuff that needs to be tested. That we do on a proper test system that lacks development tools. It also has no OS upgrade option. Donald R.
