Given printer file name of printpf, defined as usropn

Open printpf;   //before writing to print file
Write header;
Do loop;
        Write details;
Enddo;
Close   printpf;        //to make spooled file available for printing

I have a program which uses a function key to generate a report based on 
some selection criteria but the report won't print until I exit the 
program.

Is there a way to 'force' the spool file to close and print without 
exiting
