Emulation programs (I can only test this on a RUMBA session at the moment)
have an option to automatically reset keyboard errors. If you set the
option so that it does not reset the keyboard errors, the lock function
should work as designed.

I have a question on this. Does a lot of this work with 5250 emulation
programs anymore? For instance, when I get an error on the system console
I get frustrated because I have to hit error reset, while at my PC with
5250 from CAE I just type and the error goes away.

I suppose if you do it 'right' the error reset is forced. I think I
remember an application that actually worked on emulation.
