RE: Recompiling an RPG pgm


In the breakdown of your CL, there is no mention of checking to see if the
file already exists in QTEMP.  If you changed your original file with the
older version still in QTEMP, and you haven't signed off/on or deleted the
file in QTEMP, your program is still using the old version of the file,
which would explain why you're not getting a level check.  The second thing
to look at is, are you sure that your programs are really writing records
out?
