We got these same errors after converting print programs from RPGIII to IV. At the time, the 2 ways we discovered around it was to put a dummy print output in the *inzsr subroutine before any reference to the DS fields or to init to zeros in *inzsr. I haven't tried lately, but at the time (V3R1 I think) putting a Inz on the DS generated a compile time error. As part of our standards now, we routinely init to zeros in the *inzsr before any print is generated. Valene M. Williamson IBM Certified Specialist vwilliamson@glazers.com 972-448-8018
