No. What that code is actually saying is, "Define my variable AFLD to be
just like the variable *INLR", which means to make AFLD an indicator. You
would get the exact same results with:
*LIKE DEFN *IN01 AFLD

As *IN01 is also an indicator.

If your intent was to make the program end when AFLD was set *ON, then you 
would want to make AFLD based on *INLR using a based pointer.
