-- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Hi guys, just some additional notes *LIKE DEFN *INLR AFLD is RPGIII or RPG/400 and not ILERPG or RPGIV In RPGIII it's neither possible to define indicators nor using pointers. The upper command will generate an alpha numeric field (1A) In RPGIII it's possible to move other values than '0' and '1' to a field defined in this manner. In RPGIV an indicator is generated. So the compilation will fail if an other value than '0' and '1' is moved. (RNF7531) In any case the program won't end if ALFD is moved to '1'. Birgitta
