Buying books is nice, but also consider reading the archives at www.midrange
com, reading the manuals at ibm.com, and looking at sample coding that is
avaialble all over the net.  (by the way, us old-timers learned the same
way: read other people's code, read the manuals over and over, experiment.
ask frieds for ideas.)
