Put yourself in the shoes of a consultant (someone that deals w/ many systems and standards). An officially sanctioned (by IBM) method of defining object creation would generally be allowed to be used, while a homegrown utility that would read embedded "special" comments in a source would probably be shot down. The entire shop must "buy into" the method. Very difficult. -mark
