Is supporting the older hardware remotely an option rather than doing maintenance on the newer box? I assume that the V3R2 CISC boxes are pretty stable? If this is not the case, what about moving any one of the older boxes into development. You could have a V5R1 box to move forward with and an older box for maintenance of the CISC stuff.
