The syntax checker is not a feature of RPG, but of SEU.  And although it is
quite good at checking the syntax, it can only flag errors.  Not coding any
result indicator is not an error in RPG IV; nor is coding only an error
indicator.  Now, if the syntax checker were configurable, you might
configure it to not accept just an error indicator, but, alas, it isn't.
