I deleted a whole diatribe, distilling this one idea from it all: If your group feels that ILE is an opportunity, and embrace the idea, then you are probably a candidate to start deploying ILE based code. If they feel that ILE is yet another thing to overcome, they you probably don't want to touch ILE.
