CA does not return the input to the program while CF does. I have always used CA for my End of Program (F3) or Previous Screen (F12) processing. Therefore I don't need to worry if anything on the screen has been changed and no other processing would happen. I've been bitten by it too when maintaining other people's code. _______________________ Booth Martin Booth@MartinVT.com http://www.MartinVT.com _______________________ +--- | This is the RPG/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to RPG400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to RPG400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to RPG400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
