Hi Booth -

All of the answers I've seen so far have skirted around what I think is the
main use for CAxx over CFxx, which is the fact that field validation is
bypassed.

In other words, if I have fields with VALUES or COMP or RANGE on a screen,
and I have F3 to cancel out of the screen; if I use CF03 and the user has
any field validation errors, they have to be corrected before the F3
keypress will be accepted. If I use CA03, field validation is bypassed and
the F3 keypress is accepted.
