Great point Gary. We are modeled after our "leaders". We can use the Linux argument on this one. It's open source, so everything is. AS/400 is sealed tighter than a snare drum, so we do the same. This doesn't mean it's right, just saying Gary or I making the first step towards open source goes unnoticed. IBM making the first step, heck, everyone would notice and take after them. Then we go back to the same linux vs. as400 thing. Who wants my proprietary Order Entry code? It's different than IPChaining code for linux.
