For passing, or should I say omitting, paramaters on a prototype, which
syntax do you like better?  I must say I like the second, which of course is
not valid.   Can IBM make the compiler smart enough to see the special value
*OMIT and check the address of the variable for *NULL behind the scenes?
What do others on this list say?
