  • Subject: Recover source from OPM RPG program object with OPTION(*SRCDBG) specified?
  • From: "Westdorp, Tom" <tom.westdorp@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Through an error using our Aldon CMS system one of our programmers deleted
the wrong source member while resolving a conflict. The operations folks
now tell us the developer's library was last saved on 10/19/00 due to the
job scheduler entry being put on hold then and never subsequently released.
Operations has dutifully been mounting tapes, initializing them, removing
them the next morning and then storing the *BLANK tape with an offsite
storage vendor. (The execution of the operations folks is now scheduled
too, pending Dubya's pulling the switch on 'old sparky.')

Question: Does anyone know of a way to recover the source or decompile the
program object given that it's an OPM RPG object with OPTION(*SRCDBG)
specified?

TIA
