Why is the semicolon needed? Are we trying to put George, Barbara and Hans
out of a job by making it easy to write the compiler? As others have noted,
it is possible to define a language that doesn't need them, so why put them
in? Just; clutters up; the scenery.

Why does the GOTO have to be eliminated? Keep it. In some situations it
makes code a lot simpler. But mostly, who wants to manually recode stuff
that uses GOTO to not use GOTO? In some cases it might be simple, but I can
imagine it being a nightmare too. If the choice is between leaving code at
the RPG III level and having to manually rewrite programs that use GOTO's,
how many of those programs are going to become RPG IV? Shops are moving
slowly enough to RPG IV without putting in speed bumps and roadblocks.

Can CF specs be mixed with C specs? What would _that_ look like?
