We had several RPT RPGIII programs at one time. We found that it didn't matter if the source type was RPT or RPG. As long as the /COPY members were in the proper place in your source and had only one source type, the compiler still went out and retrieved the correct copy member in the source. When we converted to RPGIV with the source type as RPG, the new RPGIV source came across just find. Of course, you have to make sure your copy books are converted also before you can compile the new source. If your copy books have more than 1 source type and you need to have the pre-compile auto report sorting of your spec types, then you will need to rework your copy books, because the RPGIV compiler won't do this. Some of the other suggestions on this list would be better in that case. +--- | This is the RPG/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to RPG400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to RPG400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to RPG400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
