Have you tried researching the use of the 'AID' byte? This is a byte found
in position 369 of the workstation file's INFDS and it passes a value which
represents the function key pressed to return control back to the program.
I see that the Enter key has a value of hex 'F1'. I've never used Field+ to
return control back to the program on the AS/400, but I see there's a
reference to something called AutoEnterSLP, which has a value of hex '3F'.

The RPG reference says to go look at the Data Management guide for more
info, but that manual is now an Info Center manual, good luck trying to find
what you're looking for.

However, if you set up the INFDS with the AID byte definition, you should be
able to monitor that field and see what value gets passed back when Field+
is pressed.
