This ain't pretty, but it can work:

        OvrDBF  File(your_file)                  
                Position(*KEYxy 1 *N keyvalue)

 NextRcd:

        RcvF
        MonMsg  MsgID(CPF0864) Exec(GoTo Trouble)

/* Process record somehow */

/* If you just want to read on from here, loop */

        If      Cond(read_on) Then(GoTo NextRcd)

/* If you need another record chained, transfer to itself */

        If      Cond(chain_again) Then(TfrCtl Pgm(same_one))

 Trouble:
/* Error handling */
