You're welcome, it's just a piece of info and we'll see how valuable it
becomes (0.02 Euro :-)...

Sorry, i mixed something up, you seem to define everything straight in the
DDS, no escape sequences or other ascii rubbish in your data stream.

Maybe you can, but also with quite an effort, use some of the "compilers"
(whatever) habits to your advantage. I assume that you have the fields to be
printed in a single record, like

A RECORD
A FIELD1
A FIELD2 and so on.

And when you print this, all in Arial, Field2 starts drifting around. This
is possibly due to relative positioning to Field2. Maybe it's better when
you separate it to more records, all printed in the same line.

A RECORD1
A FIELD1
A RECORD2
A FIELD2

(no line feed after record1, of course)

This might force an absolute positioning, and this might be OK, when the
blanks are printed in a fixed space font. Where did you set Arial? With DDS
keyword or "outside", in the printer file attributes? If it's the DDS
keyword, and the outside is still 11=Courier, this might work. (I know this
from doing some studies on SCS data stream in order to write a converter to
AFPDS.)

Maybe this helps, or was at least of some interest,
best regards

Anton Gombkötö
