One way I did this one time... Open the header as primary. In *InzSr read the first record of each of the header and detail files. Now, in the main line, you have a record from the cycle, check the value of the Order Detail ord #. Is the order number less than the header order number? If so, it's an orphan, report it. Is it equal? Then it's fine, read the next Order Detail, and repeat until the order number of the Order Detail is greater than the current order number of the header. Do the same thing for the Invoice Detail file. At *LR, cycle through the rest of the Order Detail and Invoice Details and report them as orphans.
