John Hall <jhall@hillmgt.com> on 11/15/99 08:11:40 AM The problem we are having is that the old system outputs a date a little differently than the new system. old : 7/31/99 new : 07/31/99 is there a way to output a Date Type in *mdy & drop the leading zero? I know how to move to a 6 digit & use an edit code but there are hundreds of programs involved and many have 2 or 3 dates to be output. I would look at the Process option you can with the two mentioned below you can get only the positons 6 thru 74 with *RPGSRCCOL and 6 thru 100 with *RPGLESRCCOL Process option . . . . . . . . . OPTION *RPGSRCCOL *RPGLESRCCOL +--- | This is the RPG/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to RPG400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to RPG400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to RPG400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
