Assuming that you want to copy a block of field names from the I specs down into the C specs, say to initialise them all, this is very easy to do. Position the cursor on the first character of the first field name and press ALT-R. This tells the editor to establish a rectangular block. Either hold SHIFT and the cursor keys to form the selection block, or position the cursor at the last character of the last field name and press ALT-R again. Either way, you should have your fields surrounded by a "selection block." You probably already have the C specs ready to receive the donor field names, so just position the cursor at the first C spec you want to paste into, at the position you want to paste and press ALT-C. This will copy the selected block into the file at the current cursor position. Check out the help section labelled "Keys help" for more information on this stuff. I have never had Code help crash.
