This is interesting.  Can you tell me how you do it for Async modems attached 
to the
ASCII controller?  I am having trouble using WinAppc on UDS V.34 modems.  It 
works
fine with USR 28.8.   This will help me send the AT commands directly instead of
using the front panel.
