At my site, we did the following: Started using RPGIV with no special training. We first converted RPGIII programs with the CVT... command. Most of the changes , we learned from the midrange and news400 magazine. I also used an ibm toturial (on 2 disquette) that help by showing side by side the difference between RPG III and IV (sorry, i dont have that program anmore and i dont remember its name). Currently, we use RPGIV but we do not use ILE (everything is compiled with activation group *CALLER). The syntax of RPGIV is easy but my people have more trouble with the ILE concept.
