Bruno,
Thanks for the suggestion.  Unfortunately I don't think this will work
for me for 2 reasons. 1) This same program is to be used interactively
as well as batch. 2) I am at the 50 file limit for an RPG/400 program.
I will give your suggestion serious thought to see if there is some
way of applying it (i.e.: move one of the files to a server program
and possibly define the display file twice controlled by user opens.
