My opinion of Panel Groups are that they are wonderful from the user
aspect, but sure a pain from a programmer standpoint!  They are very, very
particular about every little period and space, but you don't find your
errors until you compile the panel group!  This is a case where copying an
existing one is the easiest way to tackle it (tough on the first one, I
realize!).  There is a wonderful book called Unleash the Power of UIM
(available from MidRange Computing) that will tell you more than you ever
wanted to know about panel groups.  I also think I have some info
(somewhere!) from someone who has a tool, similar to SDA or RLU, that
simplifies the process, if you get into them really big time.
