Hi all, The other day my manager whilst walking past the mess I call a desk, dumped a new pager on my desk and said 'Here set this up so I get a message when there is a problem with over night processing'. As far as I can tell I'm to set the pager up so that it sends coded numeric messages when some of the more crucial batch jobs bomb out overnight. I've looked at the pager, it's one of those 'Mercury Mini Call' models. I have thought it through and can see how to achieve it in theory, but am at a loss as to where to start. Do I need any special software to run on the 400? Has anyone done this, who could offer some advice? Know of any documentation/Faq'a of the net? Any help would be much appreciated Simon 'Never let anything electronic know your in a hurry!' * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * This is the RPG/400 Discussion Mailing List!
