VNC. The sys admin (boss's son) installed it for me on my PC while I was
out one day so I don't know a lot about the details, just how to use it to
connect to one of our retail store's PC (which run Client Access to connect
to the System i sitting next to me). My understanding (which could be
wrong) is that something has to be set up on the PC to which I'm connecting,
which makes sense, anyway.

Hi Jerry,

Are you referring to VNC or GotoMyPC?

We use it here, too, but I don't know if/how it works with Jon's Mac. All
of our PCs are XP or Win7. I use it to configure our retail stores'

password. Our PCs' IP addresses are specific; i.e., not the 10.0.0.0
variety that are used by, say, my PC sitting here next to the System i.

I like it because, unlike Windows Terminal Services, the person at the
other
end can see what I'm doing and take back control (which, of course, has
caused headaches - Hey, stop that!).
