The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

I think Jon's point is that free or for a charge doesn't seem to matter.
Some corporations truly lock down what software can be on their computers.
Many of our users will be getting converted over to remote desktop and
running off of Wyse workstations. These will be severely restricted.
On the other end of the spectrum we too have to deal with limited
capabilities as a consumer of services. If one of our users are at a
remote site (like a library or kiosk) and wants to vpn into us to do work
they often can't because our current vpn and remote desktop solution has
to download an ever so small piece. These places won't often accept
anything to be downloaded. Even the tiniest bit of java script.
