The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

Note #1 -- If they are so bothered by having to enter a user and password,

Actually, this brings me to another point: Why do the user want auto logon?
So they can get to work faster? If that's the case, why not tell them
to send the machine to standby with all applications running instead
of shutting it down? This will ensure that they'll be back in their
work within seconds, even if they have to type the passwords.
I know i never turn off my machines at work, or send them to standby
for that matter. I just lock them and turn of the screen.
