What are you using for virus protection?  I use and like the free version of
AVG  (www.grisoft.com).  Also try out ad-aware and/or spybot.

Hi folks,
 
Donn't know how this happened, but my typing is showing up on the screen
letter by letter e-v-e-r   s-o   s-l-o-w-l-y.  Buffer takes the fast
typing, but it's showing up in this paragraph at about two or three
letters per second. I type about fify or sixty words a minute, about
five times faster. Frustrating.
 
I looked around, but couldn't find anything.
