After removing 5733OPS, I installed YUM by referring to the following
site in order to migrate to the YUM package.

https://ibmi-oss-docs.readthedocs.io/en/latest/yum/README.html#ibm-i-7-1-install-instructions-experimental-not-supported

But, when I run YUM from QP2TERM, I get the error "Illegal instruction (
core dump)".
Executed command "/QOpenSys/pkgs/bin/yum --help"

If you're moving to Yum packages get rid of 5733OPS.

Looks like you installed PTF for OPS and you're trying to run Python3
via Yum version which is newer.

I could see that causing some system confusion possibly.

No, I did not remove 5733OPS and applied SI69338.

Thank you for your reply.
The yum installation is complete.
but when I run /QOpenSys/pkgs/bin/yum from QSH, I get the following
error:
Process terminated with signal 5as400

Execution error from qp2term An error will occur if an error occurs.
Illegal instruction (core dump)
