× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

If you need it resolved quickly I would recommend reaching out to IBM directly for some support. Perhaps Jesse G or Tim R can point you in the right direction.

Justin already said he got pyodbc installed, thanks to help he got on
Ryver. The magic incantation, which he cited in his post here, was
provided by Kevin Adler.

That incantation bypasses a faulty GCC-related library and uses the
latest RPM-based version of that library instead. The only questions
that remain are how/why that faulty library is faulty, how it got on
his system in the first place, and what to do about it, if anything.
None of those questions are urgent. (And my guess is that it would be
perfectly safe to just delete the offending library.)
