No. That is what is throwing me.Whether I run the pip install MySQL-python or download the tar file and then run ' build' I get the same result and I can't seem to find anything that is used to compile the code. The tar file is the one I found here:

A little mystified by pip and the build script options. Lots of jiggery-pokery going on that I am not seeing.....
