The difference between the programmer and the pig is that the pig is
probably trustworthy, loyal, friendly, courteous, kind, cheerful, thrifty,
brave, clean, and reverent--and didn't want to wrestle in the mud in the
first place.  For a good description of the normal tone of "just debating"
