However the 11 plane plot was foiled by our intelligence community as

Notice this is the story that explains about the weapons of mass destruction
Bin Laden's organization now has in their arsenal & this particular plot was
8 years in the planning ... boy do we need human intelligence sources inside
Bin Laden's organization!

Since the 11 plane plot was foiled, and since the WTC first time around folks
arrested, the intelligence community might have been blind to a later
multi-plane plot.

A more serious lapse I think was not paying attention to Israeli intelligence
on the eve of this thing
