Take a look into Gusto. Our church was using QB online because our CPA insisted on it. It worked okay, until a year ago, when QB changed their payment processing vendor, and things started "disappearing".

We found a much better piece of software, designed specifically for churches. Our CPA switched us to Gusto for doing the payroll services. That has worked out much better since we no longer rely on the CPA to submit the quarterly reports, etc.

I was forced to online due to taxes (payroll, local sales, workman’s comp,etc.).

It’s way more expensive and it’s constantly trying to sell me more features with pop ups. I asked about alternatives with my CPA but there really aren’t any.

I'm sure it works fine for simple tasks. But not for payroll, taxes,

Which is why I'm still using QB on my PC!

I feel there's a lot of insecurity with the platform about this. I

I think it will be a PIA not having it.
But do you think that things/discussions like this are what give
our
system
the reputation for being a 'legacy platform' , ' an outdated

Do you know of any one working on this platform that is not
approaching retirement?
I got those quotes from AI.

I was wondering the same thing myself - why can't they just leave

I don't see why they just can't leave it there and just not
support
it.

Maybe get an older machine with an older release for such cases?
